摘要： A camera having a structure for controlling the tripping of the shutter and the movement of the film. A film-engaging structure has a position for holding the film against movement as well as a retracted position displaced from the film. A shutter-tripping structure when moving from a cocked to a rest position engages the film-engaging structure to retract the latter away from the film, the shutter-tripping structure also tripping the camera shutter when released by manual operation from its cocked position for movement to its rest position. The shutter-tripping structure is displaced from its rest to its cocked position in connection with the transportation of the film, and this movement of the shutter-tripping structure releases the film-engaging structure for movement to its film holding position.

摘要： A miniature camera having a generally rectangular front wall provided with elongated top and bottom edges and opposed end edges which are substantially shorter than the top and bottom edges. At least one cover plate is pivotally connected to the housing of the camera for swinging movement about an axis parallel to the top and bottom edges of the front wall between a closed position covering at least part of the front wall and an open position uncovering the latter part of the front wall. This part of the front wall is provided with openings through which light can reach an objective and a viewfinder, so that when the cover plate is in its closed position these openings are covered to protect the objective and viewfinder against dust, foreign matter, and the like.

摘要： An electrically controlled camera shutter in which a shutter blade is swingable between shutter-closing and shutter-opening positions and is fixed with a shutter lever which is swingable with the shutter blade. An electromagnet includes an armature, and a swingable armature lever carries the armature and has a catch portion which coacts with a springy portion of the shutter lever to hold the shutter blade in its open position when the electromagnet is energized. When the electromagnet becomes unenergized it releases the armature lever so that the catch portion thereof releases the shutter lever enabling the shutter blade to return to its shutter-closing position.

摘要： A control mechanism for cameras. The control mechanism includes an actuating component for actuating part of the camera as well as a manually operable component to be moved by the operator. A motion-transmitting structure transmits motion from the manually operable component to the actuating component only when the manually operable component is displaced from a rest position to an operative position. A locking structure releasably holds the manually operable component in its inoperative position while the manually operable component can be actuated to release the locking mechanism so that the manually operable component can move to its operative position. The locking mechanism when moving to its unlocking position actuates the motion-transmitting element to assume a position where subsequent manipulation of the manually operable component will bring about movement of the actuating component so as to produce the required movement of a camera component.

摘要： A film feed and lock arrangement for photographic cameras equipped with flash cube provisions. A locking slider locks the film feed when in a first or initial position. Upon actuation of the release button of the camera and transfer of the slider to a second position, the film feed is released, with the slider contacting a surface on the release button in front of a locking edge on the button. Upon return of the release button to its initial or unactuated position, the locking slider contacts the surface behind the locking edge. After return of the release button through its initial and unactuated position, the button is locked in place by the slider. After the film feed mechanism has been actuated, the slider is returned to its first or initial position and thereby unlocks the release button. Once the slider has again reached its first position, the film feed becomes locked in place.
