Abstract: Method of fracturing subterranean formations using aqueous compositions comprising at least an aqueous base fluid, proppants, a viscosifier, at least one flowback aid and removing at least a portion of the aqueous fracturing fluid from the formation after fracturing. The flowback aid is selected from the group of alkyl or alkenyl polyglucosides, carboxylated alkyl or alkenyl polyglucosides and alkoxylated branched alcohols.
