Abstract:
A patterned cloth is made by which a pattern is formed on a surface of a work cloth by passing a thread through the work cloth a number of times and forming a plurality of free loops on the reverse side of the work cloth. A double-sided adhesive tape is provided to fix the free loops on the reverse side of the work cloth. The work cloth has an elastic film member, the elastic film member allowing the free loops to be retained on the reverse side of the work cloth.
Abstract:
An inkjet printer includes inkjet heads, pumps, a drive source, a derive shaft, power transmission mechanisms, and a selection unit. The pumps supply ink to the inkjet heads to recover an ink ejection condition of the inkjet heads. The drive source rotates the drive shaft forward or backward. The power transmission mechanisms are disposed between the drive shaft and the pumps, respectively, and switch between a state where a forward rotation force of the drive shaft is transmitted to each pump to bring each pump in a operatable condition and a state where the forward rotation force of the drive shaft is not transmitted to each pump. In conjunction with reverse rotation of the drive shaft, the selection unit selects at least one of the power transmission mechanisms to be brought into a state where the selected power transmission mechanism transmits the forward rotation force of the drive shaft.
Abstract:
A pump includes a case, a rotor, and a partition member. The case has a hollow inside defined by an inner wall surface thereof and includes a suction inlet through which fluid is sucked in the hollow and an exhaust outlet through which the fluid is ejected from the hollow. The rotor is rotatable in the hollow. The partition member is supported with respect to the rotor in the direction across the rotor such that two ends make constant contact with the inner wall surface defining the hollow, and is rotatable with the rotor. When the rotor is rotated, the partition member slides in the direction across the rotor and expands and shrinks in the same direction, thereby the two ends of the partition member make constant contact with the inner wall surface of the case. Accordingly, the fluid is sucked through the suction inlet in the hollow and the sucked fluid is ejected through the exhaust outlet from the hollow.
Abstract:
A sewing cartridge includes a cassette body, a hollow needle that can pass through a work cloth, a spool around which a thread to be supplied to the hollow needle is wound, a needle cover that covers at least a tip of the hollow needle, and a coil compression spring that urges the needle cover to a cover position where the needle cover covers the hollow needle.
Abstract:
A sewing cartridge includes a housing case and an openable cover. The housing case has a housing area for accommodating a thread therein, and the openable cover has a thread holding mechanism for holding the thread supplied from the housing area. In the sewing cartridge, the housing case is movable with respect to the openable cover. While the thread supplied from the housing area is hold, the sewing cartridge is attached to a sewing apparatus. In this state, when the housing case is moved up and down with respect to the openable cover, a predetermined length of the thread can be drawn from the housing area while the thread holding mechanism holds the thread with an adequate holding strength.
