Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an image processing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium; the method includes: collecting a first frame image containing a target object; detecting key points of the target object in the first frame image to obtain first position information of the key points; generating and presenting a cartoon character in the same form as the target object based on the first position information of the key points; collecting a second frame image containing the target object, where the first frame image and the second frame image are consecutive frame images; detecting key points of the target object in the second frame image to obtain second position information of the key points; and updating a form of the presented cartoon character based on a difference between the first position information and the second position information.
