    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: determining, during a conversion between a target video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, a target maximum number from a first maximum number of motion candidates of a candidate type associated with a motion vector (MV) candidate list and a second maximum number of motion candidates of the candidate type associated with a block vector (BV) candidate list; determining a candidate list including motion candidates of the candidate type for the target video block based on the target maximum number; and performing the conversion based on the candidate list.

    Abstract: A method for video processing comprises: determining, during a conversion between a target video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, an intra block copy (IBC)-based mode to be applied for the target video block based on at least one of: a mode based on affine motion compensated prediction, an affine IBC merge mode with block vector differences (MBVD), an intra template matching for IBC mode (TM_IBC), wherein a derived block vector (BV) is used as base candidates for the MBVD, an intra template matching for IBC mode (TM_IBC), wherein a derived BV is used as BV prediction candidate for IBC non-merge mode, an IBC prediction mode based on multi-hypothesis, a mode based on overlapped block motion compensation (OBMC), a mode based on geometric partitioning with the MBVD, or a mode based on geometric partitioning with TM; and performing the conversion based on the IBC-based mode.

    Abstract: The present application relates to harmonization between different video process mode. A method for processing video includes: determining, during a conversion between a first block in a video data and a bitstream representation of the first block, one or more coded modes of one or more second blocks; determining, based on the one or more coded modes of the one or more second blocks, a coded mode constraint of the first block; and performing, at least by applying the coded mode constraint of the first block, the conversion; wherein the one or more second blocks comprise at least one of an adjacent block, a non-adjacent block, and a reference block of the first block.

The method comprises: determining, during a conversion between a current video block of a video and a bitstream of the video, whether coding information of a reference video block is used to code a first piece of motion information of the current video block based on a coding pattern applied to the reference video block; and performing the conversion based on the determining. The method in accordance with the first aspect of the present disclosure improves the coding process of the current video block. Compared with the conventional solution, the proposed method can advantageously improve the coding efficiency and avoid the undesirable latency.
