摘要： The invention relates to an incontinence article (2) in the form of briefs for the absorption of bodily excretions, comprising a front stomach portion (4) and a rear back portion (6), which are connected to one another at lateral seam regions (14) on both sides at the manufacturer's to form a stomach and back band which is continuous in the transverse direction or direction of the girth (16) and which has a hip opening (18) that is closed around the girth, and comprising a crotch portion (8), which has an absorption pad (7) and extends in a longitudinal direction (9) between the stomach portion (4), with a transverse border (58) facing the crotch, and the back portion (6), with a transverse border (60) facing the crotch, wherein the crotch portion (8) is undetachably joined to the stomach portion (4) and the back portion (6), wherein not only the crotch portion (8) but also the stomach portion (4) and the back portion (6) delimit the leg openings (19) of the incontinence article, wherein first elasticated means (28) are provided in the stomach portion (4) and the back portion (6), extend at a distance from one another and parallel to one another in the transverse direction of the girth (16) and thereby elasticate the stomach portion (4) and the back portion (6) over the surface area thereof, wherein second elasticated means (40,42) are provided in a region (22,26) of the stomach portion (4) and of the back portion (6) that is on the crotch side and is facing the leg openings (19), wherein the crotch portion (8) comprises a liquid-impermeable backsheet material (62), with an inner side (63) and with a weight per unit area of 10-40 g/m2, and a nonwoven-based topsheet material (84), with an inner face (85) and with a weight per unit area of 5-20 g/m2, and wherein the absorption pad (7) is disposed between the backsheet material (62) and the topsheet material (84) and the absorption pad (7) has a width (K), longitudinal borders (46), adjoining longitudinal border regions (47) and transverse borders (88,89), wherein the topsheet material (84) or the topsheet material (84) and the backsheet material (62) form(s) in the transverse direction (16) an overhang (66a,66b) respectively extending outside the longitudinal borders (46) of the absorption pad (7), wherein the crotch portion (8) has in the transverse direction (16) a width (E) of at least 200 mm and the overhang (66a,66b) amounts in total, that is to say on both sides of the longitudinal borders (46) of the absorption pad (7), to at least 25% of the greatest width of the crotch portion (8), wherein the crotch portion (8) overlaps at least 12% of the surface area of the stomach portion (4) in a front overlapping region (36) and overlaps at least 20% of the surface area of the back portion (6) in a rear overlapping region (38), and wherein the overhang (66a,66b) in the front and/or rear overlapping regions (36,38) has a reinforcing means (200), wherein respective reinforcing means (200) are provided in a region (204) bridging the respective longitudinal border (46) of the absorption pad (7), that is to say reaches over a respective longitudinal border region (47) of the absorption pad (7), and is provided at least in a respective adjacent subregion (67) of the overhang (66a,66b), and wherein, when viewed in the transverse direction (16), the reinforcing means (200) is made narrower in this subregion (87) than the overhang (66a,66b), wherein the reinforcing means (200) comprises or consists of a reinforcing coating (202) with a weight per unit area of 1-30 g/m2, and wherein the reinforcing means (200) is disposed on the inner face (85) of the topsheet material (84). 摘要： A continuous method for producing incontinence articles in the form of pants for receiving body excrements utilizes crotch sections comprising absorbent bodies and having leg cut-outs formed by a first contour cut. Two partial webs are joined to the crotch sections in such a fashion that one end of the crotch sections overlaps one partial web in a longitudinal direction transversely to the machine direction, and the other end thereof overlaps the other partial web, and the crotch sections are disposed at a separation from each other in the machine direction. A second contour cut is performed that includes the partial webs on their mutually facing edge sections for forming substantially curved leg cut-outs. The article is then folded and the partial webs are joined transversely to the machine direction at a separation from each other for forming side seam areas of the incontinence article to be produced.
