    摘要： A disposable hygiene article (2), such as an incontinence diaper or incontinence pad has a composite non-woven fabric (38) that is provided with at least one cuff element (16) and a non-woven fabric or film component (10, 12). The cuff element (14) is attached to the non-woven fabric or film component (10, 12) in at least some areas by means of a joining pattern (36) encompassing discrete ultrasonic welding points (30) in order to form the composite non-woven fabric (38). At least some sections of the joining pattern (36) are curved. The joining pattern has a maximum index (I) of variation of the ultrasonic welding points of 40 percent. An area seized by the welding points has a density within the joining pattern which decreases in rear and front end portions along endwards directed and inwardly curved extensions of the joining pattern.

In order to make the formation of the welded joint a secure process, the joining pattern is embodied such that the maximum index (I) of variation of the area seized by the ultrasonic welding points is 40 percent.

    摘要： An absorbent incontinence product with a main piece formed of a front section, a back section and a crotch section which lies in a longitudinal direction between the front and the back sections and is intended to be placed between the legs of a user. The main part has an absorbent body and first material sections which are attached to the back section and/or to the front section and extend in the transverse direction over first longitudinal side edges of the main piece and second material sections which are attached to the back section and/or to the front section and extend in the transverse direction over second longitudinal side edges of the main part. The first and second material sections connect the front section to the back section when the product is applied. The material sections, prior to use of the folded product, are each folded inwards towards the side of the main piece facing the body about a fold axis extending in the longitudinal direction to form an arrangement that is folded over on itself so that the second material section comes to lie at least partly beneath the first material section and the folded arrangement is detachably secured at a first joining point.
