Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for forwarding a protocol frame in spanning rings, applied to the Ethernet ring network including a crossed or tangent ring and sub-ring. The method comprises steps as follows: when an interconnection node of the ring and the sub-ring receives a protocol frame from a sub-ring, if the topology of the sub-ring is changed, the interconnection node updates its address forwarding table according to the address updating information carried in the protocol frame, and sends the address updating information to the ring; the nodes of the ring update their address forwarding table respectively according the updating information. The present invention selectively sends information of sub-ring protocol frame to the ring via the interconnection node of the ring and the sub-ring. Such scheme that information of the sub-ring protocol frame is selective sent at the interconnection node not only solves the problem of updating address in spanning rings, but also decreases the amount of protocol frames sent from the sub-ring to the ring, and thereby greatly improves the performance and efficiency of the network.

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for acquiring protocol messages by a ring-network node, including: using dual fields to identify different protocol messages; if a node supporting G.8032v1 receives a Force Switch (FS) or Manual Switch (MS) protocol message, determining that message is a Signal Fail (SF) protocol message according to an identifier; a node supporting G.8032v2 determining that the received protocol message is an SF or MS or FS protocol message according to the identifier. The method of the present invention enables the nodes in a ring network to accurately control the state of their own ports, thereby avoiding the case that multiple blocking points appear in the ring network and improving the network performance.

A method for managing a topology of a multi-ring Ethernet and a system thereof are disclosed, and the method includes: a node including a blocked port on the multi-ring Ethernet periodically sending a Topology Find Frame (TF) message along a transmission control channel through an own good port; a node receiving said TF message in the multi-ring Ethernet updating an own topology database according the NODE_LIST in said TF message, writing an own NODE_ID into the NODE_LIST of said TF message, and then forwarding said TF message along the transmission control channel.

The present invention discloses a method for refreshing a single ring address of an Ethernet ring, which method comprises: achieving address refresh on an on-ring port at one side of a same node by the control of a refresh timer. The present invention further discloses a system for refreshing a single ring address of an Ethernet ring, which system comprises: an address refresh achieving unit configured to achieve address refresh on an on-ring port at one side of a same node by the control of a refresh timer. The method and system of the present invention reduces the number of refreshes of the address forwarding table and improves the efficiency and stability of Ethernet ring protection, thus greatly promoting the performance of the Ethernet ring.

A method and device for transmitting a control message based on a multi-ring Ethernet are provided, wherein the method comprises the following steps: control virtual local area networks of a main ring and a sub-ring are configured (S1002); and a main ring node receives a sub-ring control message from the sub-ring, forwards the sub-ring control massage to the other main ring nodes on the main ring via a data plane, and synchronously realizes the blocking or opening of the sub-ring control message and a data message in the data plane (S1004). The present disclosure solves the problem that the time for the main ring node to process the sub-ring control message is too long during existing control message transmission process, avoids the control message loop situation caused by the transmission of the sub-ring control message over the main ring, and improves the network performance.

The present invention provides a method for blocking a protocol message at a Sub-ring control channel without a virtual channel, for avoiding the problem that the Sub-ring is in a continuous refresh state all the time caused by the existing solution of the Sub-ring control channel without the virtual channel, and the method includes: blocking forwarding of relevant messages when a forced switch is initiated or a failure is detected.

A method and a system for refreshing addresses are disclosed. Said method includes: when state switching between a link fault and a fault recovery occurs in a link, a node where a port related to this link is situated refreshing an address forwarding list, and configuring a flag PF for suspending an operation of refreshing an address forwarding list on other ports of this node, and sending protocol message with address refreshing information to other nodes; and when ports of other nodes receive said protocol message, refreshing the address forwarding list only when identifier information included in this protocol message is inconsistent with identifier information stored in this port and this port is not configured with said PF flag. Said method and system judge whether to refresh the address forwarding list according to said PF flag, and determine whether to refresh the address forwarding list according to the judgment result.
