摘要： Systems, methods, and software can be used to generate predictive text on an electronic device. In some aspects, one computer-implemented method includes receiving, at an input method editor (IME) operating on an electronic device, a text prediction indicator for an editable field outputted by an application; determining, based on the text prediction indicator, whether a text input from the editable field is allowed to be stored; in response to determining that the text input from the editable field is allowed to be stored, storing the text input; determining a predictive text; and outputting the predictive text on the electronic device.
