Abstract: Disclosed is a hydrogel drug delivery composition comprising a therapeutic agent and a poloxamer, wherein the poloxamer is modified to be capable of adhering to a surface of bones or teeth, and wherein the poloxamer is modified by pyrophosphate, bisphosphonates, acidic peptides or tetracycline and its derivatives.
