Abstract: A hemostasis seal member for a medical device, the seal member comprises a cylindrical main body portion having a proximal face, a distal face, and a peripheral surface face extending between the proximal and distal faces, the main body portion having a first diameter, and a radial sealing feature extending radially inward or outward from the peripheral surface and configured to sealingly engage an inner cylindrical surface of a hemostasis valve housing. The radial sealing feature comprises a radial projection extending radially outward from the peripheral surface, or a concave recess extending radially inward from the peripheral surface.
