Abstract: A method and apparatus for installing bottom anchors for anchoring a pipeline on or under a water bottom. Such apparatus includes means for attaching the anchor driving mechanism to the pipe for exerting a downward force on the anchor drive mechanism while the anchors are being driven into the bottom. The present invention also includes means on the anchors for cutting through hard surface formations such as coral or the like.
