摘要： An image capturing apparatus comprise an image capturing unit; a button; a touch detecting unit configured to detect a touch operation on a touch panel; and a control unit configured to control, when an operation of the button is accepted in a specific operation mode, the image capturing unit so that the image capturing unit performs shooting for a term that corresponds to a time period for which the operation is continued, and to control, in the specific operation mode, the image capturing unit so that the image capturing unit starts shooting in response to the touch operation on the touch panel, and ends the shooting when it is detected that the touch of the touch operation is released and another touch is performed.
