Abstract: A communication apparatus comprises a communication unit configured to communicate with an external apparatus, a first reading unit configured to read predetermined information for specifying a type of the external apparatus from a captured image of the external apparatus, a presenting unit configured to present an operation procedure for setting connection information, according to the type of the external apparatus specified using the predetermined information, a second reading unit configured to read connection information from a captured image of the external apparatus, based on a display appearance of connection information according to the external apparatus, and a control unit configured to connect with the external apparatus via the communication unit by using the connection information acquired by the second reading unit.
