    Abstract: An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment includes transmitter/receiver circuitry and processing circuitry. The transmitter/receiver circuitry is configured to transmit an ultrasound wave to an examined subject by using a first transmission condition and to receive an echo from the examined subject. The processing circuitry is configured: to generate, on the basis of the first transmission condition, a second transmission condition corresponding to transmitting an ultrasound wave obtained by adding a harmonic component to the ultrasound wave; to obtain a transmission wave field by forward propagating the ultrasound wave transmitted on the basis of the second transmission condition; to obtain a reception wave field by backward propagating a signal based on the echo; and to generate a harmonic echo component by performing a correlation analysis between the transmission wave field and the reception wave field.

    Abstract: A method for harmonic imaging is provided and includes inputting first training ultrasound data, including a fundamental component and a harmonic component, to each of a plurality of teacher models, and training each teacher model with the first training ultrasound as teacher input data and second training ultrasound data, including the harmonic component, as teacher target data; acquiring, for each teacher, corresponding first estimated data output from the teacher model, in response to input of first ultrasound data to the teacher model; selecting a first particular teacher model by evaluating the corresponding first estimated data output from each of the trained teacher models; and training a student model with the first ultrasound data as student input data and the corresponding first estimated data of the selected first particular teacher model as student target data.

The Doppler processing circuitry is configured to perform principal component analysis of a first signal data string obtained from the echo signal, and is configured to extract a second signal data string from the first signal data string by reducing a predetermined Doppler frequency component, on the basis of at least one of an eigenvalue and an eigenvector obtained by the principal component analysis.
