    Abstract: An information processing device includes, at least one processor that derives frequency characteristics of time-series data of a measurement result by an acceleration sensor and determines whether the time-series data indicates a running/walking state in accordance with whether all determination conditions including at least a first condition and a second condition are satisfied, the first condition being a condition that a frequency having maximum intensity in the derived frequency characteristics is equal to or higher than a lower limit frequency set in advance, and the second condition being a condition that at least one of the frequency having the maximum intensity or a frequency having second largest intensity in the frequency characteristics falls within a range equal to or higher than the lower limit frequency and equal to or lower than an upper limit frequency set in advance.

    Abstract: A watch includes a pointer that rotates and indicates a time, a notifier that performs a notification operation to a user in a mode other than a visual mode, and a processor that controls the rotation of the pointer and the notification operation of the notifier. The processor is configured to control the pointer to cause the pointer to rotate faster than a rotation corresponding to a passage of time and move to a specified position and, when the pointer arrives at a notification position while the pointer is moving fast, control the notifier to cause the notifier to perform the notification operation.

    Abstract: A pointer controller includes at least one processor; and a display that includes a pointer. The at least one processor is configured to control the display so as to display an elapsed time, switching between (i) a first display mode for display of the elapsed time cumulatively by causing, upon resumption of display, movement of the pointer that inherits a previous display time and (ii) a second display mode for display of the elapsed time non-cumulatively by causing, upon resumption of display, movement of the pointer that does not inherit the previous display time. The movement of the pointer controlled by the at least one processor is such that the first display mode and the second display mode differ from each other in a way of movement that indicates how the pointer moves.

    Abstract: An electronic timepiece includes a storage that stores specific-region DST application rule information and local time information that includes, in association with each other, DST application rules for each region and standard-wave transmitting station information indicating each station transmitting standard waves receivable in the region; a processor that controls clock time to be kept by a clock circuit and displays time to be displayed on a display; and a standard wave receiver that receives standard waves and obtains time information. The processor calibrates the clock time based on the time information indicated by the standard waves received by the standard wave receiver, and controls the display time based on whether the specific-region DST application rule information and the DST application rule information associated with the standard-wave transmitting station information indicating a station transmitting the received standard waves satisfy a predetermined condition.
