Abstract:
An image capture apparatus includes an image capture unit, a communication unit, and a control unit which communicates with an external device by first or second communication systems. The first system maintains communication connection even if the apparatus and device are not in a predetermined operational mode for executing image transmission processing. The second system maintains communication connection if the apparatus and device are in the predetermined mode. The control unit can automatically transmit a photographed image to an external device through the communication unit by the second communication system, and switch and control first and second functional modes for enabling and disabling a photography function, respectively. Where an image is photographed in the first mode, the control unit records the image as a target for automatic transmission. If the transmission target image is recorded, automatic transmission is not started during the first mode, and started during the second mode.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes: a communication unit that communicates with an external image capture apparatus; a positioning unit that estimates a moving distance of the image capture apparatus; and a transmission unit that transmits to the external image capture apparatus, an instruction to control the image capture apparatus, depending on the moving distance estimated by the positioning unit, via the communication unit.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus including a CPU which is operable to function as units comprising a processing unit which sets, as a first area, an area that is not a peripheral edge area in a captured image acquired by an imaging unit, sets an area including the peripheral edge area as a second area, and performs predetermined processing on one of the first area and the second area, and a specification unit which specifies whether the first area is subjected to the predetermined processing or the second area is subjected to the predetermined processing, based on orientation information of the imaging unit when the captured image is acquired.
Abstract:
An image capture apparatus is provided with an image capture unit and a communication unit, and is configured to: perform automatic transmission for automatically transmitting an image photographed with the image capture unit to an external device through the communication unit; switch and control a first functional mode for enabling a photography function, and a second functional mode for disabling the photography function and enabling a communication function in relation to image transmission; in a case in which an image is photographed in the first functional mode, record the photographed image as a transmission target image that is targeted for the automatic transmission; and even if the transmission target image is recorded, control the communication unit not to start automatic transmission of the transmission target image to the external device during the first functional mode, and control the communication unit to start automatic transmission of the transmission target image to the external device during the second functional mode.
Abstract:
An image capturing apparatus (1) includes an image capturing unit (2), a display control unit (71), an overlap determination unit (72), and a recording control unit (74). The image capturing unit (22) sequentially captures an image of a subject. The display control unit (71) controls the image containing the subject image sequentially captured by the image capturing unit (22) and an indicator image for instructing recording of the subject image to be displayed on a display unit in such a way that the indicator image is superimposed on the image containing the subject image. The overlap determination unit (72) determines whether the indicator image and the subject image have overlapped. The recording control unit (74) controls the image containing the subject image to be recorded in a storage medium, when the overlap determination unit (72) determines that the indicator image and the subject image have overlapped.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus includes an image acquiring unit, an image setting unit, an image selecting unit, and an image generating unit. The image acquiring unit acquires a plurality of images belonging to different groups. The image setting unit determines the number of images to be used for generation of a new image. The image selecting unit selects images of the number determined by the image setting unit from the plurality of images based on supplementary information of a plurality of images belonging to each of the different groups acquired by the image acquiring unit. The image generating unit generates a new image from the images selected by the image selecting unit.
