Abstract: An electronic musical instrument includes a performance operating element, a storage unit configured to store performance data corresponding to an operation each time a user operates the performance operating element, and at least one processor. The at least one processor executes, in a first period, processing of storing the performance data in the storage unit in response to the operation of the user on the performance operating element in a case of being in a recording state. The at least one processor executes, in a second period longer than the first period, processing of outputting the performance data stored in the storage unit in a case of being in a reproduction state.

Abstract: An electronic musical instrument includes a performance operating element, a second operating element configured to add an acoustic effect or change setting information including a tone, a storage unit including a first storage area that stores first performance data corresponding to an operation on the performance operating element and second performance data corresponding to an operation on the second operating element, and a second storage area that stores the second performance data, and at least one processor. The at least one processor stores, in a case where the second performance data stored in the first storage area is overwritten in a recording state, the overwritten second performance data in the second storage area, and instructs to generate a musical sound based on the first performance data stored in the first storage area and the second performance data stored in the second storage area in a reproduction state.
