Abstract: A bucket for a machine includes a pair of spaced apart side sections that define a width of the bucket and a hinge plate assembly positioned between the pair of side sections. The hinge plate assembly includes a pair of spaced apart hinge plates, with each of the hinge plates including a front boss and a rear boss, a base plate having a first thickness, and an upper wrapper plate having a second thickness that is less than the first thickness. A wrapper has a third thickness that is less than the second thickness and a lip plate includes a lower cutting edge.
