摘要: A method of calibrating a display system, the method comprising: displaying a test pattern including a plurality of blobs; detecting one or more base blobs in the displayed test pattern; identifying, based on the detected base blobs, patches of the test pattern, wherein each patch comprises one of the base blobs and a subset of additional blobs detected in the displayed test pattern; determining a patch location for at least one patch within the test pattern based on the subset of the additional blobs in the patch to determine a blob location for at least one detected blob; determining a calibration parameter for the display system based on the blob location and a detected attribute of the at least one detected blob; and calibrating the projector using the calibration parameter.

摘要: A device, system and method for photometric compensation of images provided by a display device. A display device is controlled to provide colors, the display device configured to provide images according to the colors of the display device. A camera acquires respective images of the colors provided by the display device. A per-pixel correction function for modifying image data used by the display device to provide the images is determined based on: the respective images of each of the colors acquired by the camera corrected into the HVS model using a predetermined color-relationship between the camera and a Human Visual System (HVS) model for the colors of the display device. The display device is controlled to provide the images using the image data as corrected using the per-pixel correction function.

摘要: A system and method for online projector-camera calibration from one or more images is provided. The system comprises: a projector, a camera, and a calibration device configured to: determine a map between pixels of each of a projector image and a camera image in fewer than one hundred percent of pixels of the projector image using feature extraction; determine an initial estimate of a fundamental matrix from the map; determine an initial guess of intrinsic properties of the projector and camera using one or more closed-form solutions; iteratively determine an error-function based on the map using the fundamental matrix while adding constraints on the intrinsic properties using the one or more closed-form solutions, and the initial estimate and guess as initial input; and, when the error-function reaches an acceptance value, determine intrinsic and extrinsic properties of the projector and the camera from current values of iterative estimates.
