Abstract: A high-strength A356 alloy and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. Modifiers Ba and Zr are added to improve the as-cast structure of the alloy. The high-pressure solidified A356 alloy prepared by a high-pressure solidification technology has finer grains, and the elements such as Mg and Si have higher supersaturated solubility in a matrix.
