Abstract: An optical splitter module (140) can be carried on a cover (120) of an enclosure (100) between a contoured surface (129) and a row of optical adapters (130). Output pigtails (165) from the splitter module (140) are routed to the optical adapters (130). In certain examples, a significantly longer input fiber (161) is routed from the splitter module (140) to a splice region (114) at a base (110) of the enclosure (100). Certain types of splitter modules (140) are mounted to the cover (120) at an angle relative to an insertion axis for a feeder cable (170). A certain type of splitter module (140) curves about a minor axis (A2) so that one major surface (142) has a concave curvature and another major surface (143) has a convex curvature.

Abstract: A fiber management tray (10) is disclosed. The fiber management tray (10) can have a body (12) including a bottom wall (14) with side walls (16) extending outwardly from the bottom wall (14). The fiber management tray (10) can include a termination region (18) that has a first side (24) and a second side (26). The termination region (18) includes a termination panel (13) that holds connectors (20). The fiber management tray (10) can include a hinge area (56) for mounting said tray (10) to a tray tower (58) and a storage basket (32) located between the termination region (18) and the hinge area (56). The storage basket (32) can include a first pocket (44) that communicates with the second side (26) of the termination region (18) and an opposite second pocket (48) that communicates with the first side (24) of the termination region (18). The fiber management tray (10) can define at least one fiber routing path on each of the first and second pockets (44, 48) of the storage basket (32). The fiber management tray (10) can define a fiber transition opening (54) for transitioning optical fibers between the second pocket (48) of the storage basket (32) and first side (24) of the termination region (18). The fiber transition opening (54) can have an access structure for allowing optical fibers to be inserted into the fiber transition opening (54).

Abstract: An enclosure (10) includes a base (38) defining a splice region (148) and a cover (40) coupled to the base (38) to move between a closed position and an open position. A plurality of ruggedized adapters (26) are on the cover (40), each adapter having an inner port (64) and an outer port (66). A removable module (32) is disposed on the cover (40), at least one input fiber (12) being routed from the splice region (148) of the base (38) to the removable module (32), wherein the at least one input fiber (12) is output from the module as a pigtail (28) having a connectorized end that is connected to an inner port (64) of a ruggedized adapter (26). A cable input location (16) receives an input cable (14/20) including at least one tube (138) surrounding at least one fiber (12) that carries the same signal as the at least one input fiber (12) being routed from the splice region (148) to the removable module (32). The input cable (14/20) is anchored to the base (38) at the cable input location (16). A tube holder (150) is slidably mounted to the base (38) past the cable input location (16), wherein the tube holder (150) keeps separate an unused fiber-carrying tube (138) that is stored within the base (38) in a loop (122) from a fiber-carrying tube (138) whose fiber (12) leads toward the splice region (148) of the base (38) for further routing toward the removable module (32).

The groove plate has an access groove for managing fiber optic cables on the groove plate.
