Abstract: A telecommunications tray is presented herein. In some examples, the telecommunications tray assembly includes a tower structure and at least one hinged tray rotatably mounted to the tower structure. In one aspect, the hinged tray is rotatable between at least two indexed positions, wherein the hinged tray is positively retained in the at least two indexed positions by a position retention structure. In some examples, the position retention structure is a transversely mounted leaf spring that is received into recesses of the tower structure.

Abstract: A telecommunications assembly includes an adapter unit, a tray, and a telecommunications component. The adapter unit can be formed with a main body defining a first attachment feature disposed on a bottom side of the main body and a second attachment feature disposed on a top side of the main body. The tray can define a base wall and a side wall extending from the base wall, the tray defining a third attachment feature removably interconnected with the first attachment feature. The telecommunications component can define a fourth attachment feature removably interconnected with the second attachment feature such that the telecommunications component is attached to the tray by the adapter unit, the fourth attachment feature being incompatible for attachment with the third attachment feature.

Abstract: A tray assembly for a fiber optic system to organize optical fibers. The tray assembly includes a backbone structure with a plurality of backbone segments that are connected together and are positioned along an expansion/contraction axis of the backbone structure. The tray assembly also includes a stack of fiber management trays that are connected to the backbone structure. Each of the fiber management trays are pivotally connected to the backbone segments at a pivot axis. The backbone segments are moveable relative to one another along the expansion/contraction axis to allow the backbone structure to be moved between an expanded state and a contracted state.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a telecommunication enclosure having a configuration that can be readily customized in the factory to satisfy customer specifications and can also be readily upgraded in the field. In certain examples, the telecommunication enclosure includes a main housing defining a plurality access ports. A plurality of different add-on components can selectively be coupled to the main housing at the access ports in sealed relation to the main housing. The add-on components can include visual indicators which are visible from outside the main housing when the add-on components are mounted to the main housing.

Abstract: A telecommunications assembly where two cable management devices allow for storage of fiber slack loops having a length defined by a cable in a full loop having the radius of the minimum bend radius of the cable up to and including a length twice as long as the full loop having the radius of the minimum bend radius of the cable; wherein no linear segments are defined by the full loop having the radius of the minimum bend radius of the cable; and wherein linear segments are provided in loops greater in length than a full loop having the radius of the minimum bend radius of the cable. The fiber optic cable slack is connected to other fibers or devices on both ends, and the slack is managed in loop shapes without having unmanaged segments that can interfere with other cables, get damaged, or create organization and use problems for the technician.
