    Abstract: A discharging control method and a charging control method for a battery pack control system are provides. The battery pack control system includes a master battery management unit and multiple slave battery management units. The master battery management unit controls the slave battery management units. The slave battery management units controls battery packs to connect to an operating circuit or disconnect from the operating circuit. In the discharging control method and the charging control method, a loop current generated from connecting a battery pack to an operating circuit is predicted each time before a slave battery management unit controls the battery pack to connect to the operating circuit, and the battery pack is controlled to connect to the operating circuit with the generated loop current within a safe value range.

    Abstract: This application discloses a charging duration determining method, a BMS, a battery, and an electrical device. The method includes: determining a charge temperature of a battery; estimating, in a case that the charge temperature exceeds a first specified range, a first duration to be taken to adjust the charge temperature of the battery to the first specified range; estimating a second duration to be taken to charge the battery to a target SOC after the charge temperature of the battery has been adjusted to the first specified range; and determining, based on a charge start time of the battery, the first duration, and the second duration, a duration to be taken to charge the battery to the target SOC. The charging duration determined for the battery according to this application is more accurate, and facilitates users to accurately learn the charging status of the battery in time.

    Abstract: This application provides a method and a device for estimating a remaining charging time of a battery, and a battery management system. The method includes: determining a minimum charging time of each type of battery cell at a Kth charging phase based on a charge request current value of each type of battery cell at the Kth charging phase; and determining the remaining charging time of the battery when the Kth charging phase of any type of battery cell in the battery is a target state-of-charge phase, where the remaining charging time of the battery is a smallest one of accumulation values, each accumulation value being an accumulation of minimum charging times of a type of battery cell in the battery at all charging phases.
