Abstract: A battery cell includes an electrode assembly and an insulating film, where the electrode assembly is of a winding structure, and includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator, and the separator is used to isolate the first electrode plate from the second electrode plate; and the insulating film is wound around the outside of the electrode assembly by wrapping, and a winding starting section of the insulating film is connected to a winding ending section of the separator.
