Abstract: A coating apparatus, and an electrode plate production system and method are provided, where the coating apparatus includes a roller capable of rotating around its axis. The roller includes: a body portion; and a protrusion portion disposed on an outer surface of the body portion and extending along an entire circumference of the body portion. A surface of the protrusion portion located on an outermost side in a radial direction of the body portion serves as a coating surface.
