Abstract: In a cylindrical capacitor having a gaseous dielectricum the relation between the coefficient of expansion of the material of the inner cylinder of the capacitor and the gas pressure, which is held steady, being such as to make the capacity of the capacitor substantially independent of temperature variations within the operational temperature range of the capacitor.
