Abstract: The present invention relates to a water treatment device, and more specifically to a water purifier capable of removing scale in a simple manner. A water purifier according to one aspect of the present invention includes: a body casing; a raw water flow path unit provided in the body casing and through which introduced raw water flows; a filtration unit for filtering the raw water to generate purified water; a purified water flow path unit through which the purified water flows; a purified water outlet flow path unit through which the purified water flows to be discharged to the outside; a water outlet unit detachably coupled to the body casing, connected to the purified water outlet flow path unit, and provided with a drinking water outlet to allow the purified water to be discharged to the outside; a descaling kit unit detachably coupled to the body casing so as to be replaceable with the water outlet unit and provided with an internal flow path to allow washing water to flow to the purified water flow path unit, wherein the washing water is generated by dissolving a descaling material in the purified water introduced through the purified water outlet flow path unit; and a control unit for controlling fluid flow in each of the units.

Abstract: A filter for controlling a pH of purified water is disclosed. The pH-controlling filter according to an aspect of the present disclosure may include a water permeable filter having a hollow formed in a center of a cross-section from one end to the other end; a lower stopper closing a lower end of the water permeable filter, a filling unit inserted into the hollow of the water permeable filter to form an inner space, the filling unit having an inlet through which the purified water passing through the water permeable filter flows into the inner space and an outlet through which the purified water passing through the inner space flows out; and control particles filled in the inner space of the filling unit to adjust a pH of the purified water passing through the inner space of the filling unit and comprising OH group-generating particles configured to supplement the purified water passing through the inner space with OH groups.
