Abstract: A system, apparatus, device, and method for controlling fluid flow, including one or more devices generating one or more secondary fluid flow structures, wherein the fluid flow structures emanate from the aerodynamic or hydrodynamic surface, have a strength that is controlled independently of the primary flow, and enhance the aerodynamic or hydrodynamic force generated by primary flow predominantly by changing direction of said primary flow whether the flow is attached or separated from the surface, and/or interrupting and re-starting said primary flow forming regions that are not directly affected by the fluid flow structure regardless of whether said primary flow is attached or separated.
