摘要: A mobile serving cart with adjustable hinges that allows for the production inconsistencies associated with rotational molding. The cart comprises a plurality of door assemblies, each door assembly comprising at least two hinge assemblies, at least one hinge assembly being disposed at the upper portion of the door assembly, and at least one other hinge assembly being disposed at the lower portion of the door assembly. Each hinge assembly comprises at least two door bolts, at least one cart bolt, and a pivot rod. The cart rod is disposed between the at least two door bolts at an orientation that is orthogonal to the at least two door bolts. The hinge assemblies provide a means for the rotationally molded door assemblies and side walls of the cart to be tightly or snuggly coupled together despite the manufacturing inconsistencies inherent to the rotational molding process.

摘要: A food service cart comprising a removable and adjustable hinge which accommodates for the normal inconsistences that are inherent with the rotational molding process. The hinge comprises a bore which is defined off-center relative to its longitudinal axis, allowing the bore to be selectively adjusted relative to a side panel and a door of the food service cart and provide a proper alignment there between. A plurality of facets disposed on the hinge ensure that it does not further rotate as the door is being rotated relative to the side panel. The food service cart also includes an expandable end table which forms a flush service with a side panel of the cart when in a collapsed or contracted configuration. A plurality of tray supports are disposed in the food service cart along with a flume defined therein which assists in the transfer of heat through the food service cart.

摘要: A plate assembly for increasing the efficiency and safety of a rotational molding machine. The plate assembly includes a mold plate that is coupled to a mold and mold frame, and an arm plate that is coupled to a distal end of rotating arm portion of the rotational molding machine. The mold plate includes means for being rotated relative to the arm plate that the mold plate may be selectively engaged to the arm plate. The mold plate and by extension the mold are locked into position via a plurality of coupling means disposed on the arm plate. Once secured, the rotational molding process is carried out by the rotational molding machine rotating the mold and plate assembly around at least one axis of rotation as the mold is indexed or rotated through each of the plurality of fabrication steps.
