摘要： The present disclosure relates to pleated filter element comprising: a pleated filter media comprising a major upstream face and a major downstream face and comprising a plurality of oppositely-facing pleats extending between said major upstream face and said major downstream face such that the pleated filter media comprises a first corrugated edge and a second corrugated edge and a first noncormgated edge and a second noncormgated edge, wherein the pleated filter media comprises a main pleat section and a first edge pleat section at the first noncormgated edge, wherein the length of the first edge pleat section is less than 50% of the total length of the pleated filter element between the first noncormgated edge and the second noncormgated edge, and/or wherein the maximum pleat height in the first edge pleat section is lower than the maximum pleat height in the main pleat section. The present disclosure further relates to an air filter comprising the pleated filter element in a casing.
