Abstract: Disclosed are compound, its stereoisomer, salt, hydrate, solvate, isotope or crystalline form thereof, represented by Formula (I), with X, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 as disclosed herein. Also, disclosed is a process for their preparation, compositions containing such compounds, methods of medical treatment or prophylaxis of a disease by such compounds and uses thereof. The compounds of Formula (I) are pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P) analogs, and can act as prodrugs.
