Abstract: A pressure-compensation device for a housing includes: an inner side; an outer side; and a lattice-like cage having a gas opening. The gas opening connects the inner side and the outer side in a flow-conducting manner and is restricted, in a through-flow direction of the gas opening, by an inner edge and an outer edge. The gas opening is covered by a gas-permeable membrane. The membrane comprises a nonwoven-fabric composite part and has at least one nonwoven-fabric layer.
