摘要： An electrical paint stripping device for removing/detoxifying organotin afouling coatings includes a housing, a heating chamber containing a plurality of electrical heating elements, and a plenum chamber for cooling air which is separated from the heating chamber by a perforated ceramic separator element. A circumferential exhaust chamber encloses the heating chamber for collecting exhaust gasses from the heating chamber. The collected exhaust gasses are then fed to a treatment device for removing toxic substances therefrom prior to passing the gasses to the environment.
