摘要： A device for crimping synthetic thread bundles or bands has a stuffing chamber, a pair of rollers supplying a thread bundle or band into the stuffing chambers, a pressing disk covering a roller gap at end sides of the rollers, a clamping element including and axially reciprocating piston which presses the pressing disks against the end surfaces of the rollers, a rotary drive having a drive unit for producing a reciprocating movement and an apparatus for converting the reciprocating movement in a stepped rotation of the pressing disks, the clamping element being fixedly connected with the rotary drive to form a structural group, the structural group having a single rotatably supported and axially displaceable driven element which axially engages the pressing disk and is fixedly connected with it for joint rotation, the piston of the clamping element being clampable inside the structural group axially against the driven element, the rotary drive having a swivel motor with a swiveling shaft which is reciprocatingly swivelable in a limited angular region and a free-running element arranged as a coupling between the swivel shaft and the driven element aligned with the swivel shaft.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for the steam treatment of a moving fiber strand, comprising an elongated steam chamber. To seal the steam chamber, a pair of feed rollers is connected to and seals a feed chamber on a feed side in such a way that the nip constitutes the feed into the steam chamber. The opposing exit side is equipped with a pair of exit rollers, which forms a second nip and which is connected to and seals the other end of the steam chamber by means of an exit chamber, in such a way that the second nip constitutes the exit from the steam chamber. The feed roller pair and the exit roller pair are respectively formed by a fixed sealing roller and a displaceable sealing roller. The aim of the invention is to achieve a seal between the sealing roller and the associated sealing chamber, irrespective of the operating position of the displaceable roller. To achieve this, the feed chamber and/or exit chamber comprise(s) a sealing surface lying opposite the roller circumference of the displaceable sealing roller, thus sealing the nip, and a displaceable sealing strip, which is located in said sealing surface and is pre-stressed against the circumference of the sealing roller.
