A video standard detector and operation method thereof are provided. The video standard detector includes a low pass filter (LPF) unit and a standard detector unit. The LPF filters a baseband signal. The feature detector detects vertical synchronization information of the baseband signal and horizontal synchronization information of the baseband signal using the output of the LPF, and determines the video standard corresponding to the baseband signal according to the vertical synchronization information and the horizontal synchronization information.

A liquid crystal display panel has a display region and a peripheral region defined thereon. The peripheral region is disposed at an outside of the display region, and the peripheral region includes a bridge circuit region. The liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate, a first conductive layer, a second substrate, a second conductive layer and a spacer. The first conductive layer is disposed on the first substrate in the bridge circuit region. The second substrate is disposed in parallel to a side of the first substrate, and the second conductive layer is disposed on the second substrate in the peripheral region. The spacer is disposed between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer in the bridge circuit region, and the spacer electrically isolates the first conductive layer from the second conductive layer.

A method for producing carbon nanotubes uses a polymer as a raw material to undergo in situ thermal decomposition. The method includes steps of mixing the polymer and metallic catalyst through a multiple heating stage process of in-situ thermal decomposition to carbonize the polymer and release carbon elements to produce carbon nanotubes. Advantages of the present invention include easy to prepare, low temperature in manipulation, low production cost, and high safety.

An audio control system applied for a television and a method thereof are disclosed. The system includes an analog audio signal input unit, an audio processor, a video processor, an HDMI interfacing unit and a determination unit. The analog audio signal input unit is used to receive an analog audio signal. The HDMI interfacing unit is used to receive an HDMI signal, and extract and output a digital audio signal and a digital video signal from the HDMI signal. The video processor electrically connected to the HDMI interfacing unit is used to process the digital video signal. The determination unit is used to detect the audio signal status of the HDMI interfacing unit, and control the audio processor to receive the digital audio signal or the analog audio signal based on a detection result.

A cache memory access method is to be implemented by a cache memory apparatus that includes a data storage unit which includes a plurality of storage sets each including a plurality of storage elements corresponding respectively to a plurality of access ways. The method includes: receiving from a processer a target address; determining whether the data storage unit stores target data corresponding to the target address; receiving the target data from a main memory if negative; selecting a chosen way from the plurality of access ways according to whether the storage elements of the storage set which corresponds to the target address store valid data and whether the target address corresponds to a predefined lock range in the main memory; and writing the target data in the data storage unit based on the chosen way.
