Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for providing annotations in virtual presentation sessions. Content is presented to a plurality of user devices participating in a communication session. Annotations to the content are received from a plurality of users of the plurality of user devices during the communication session. A subset of one or more users is selected. The annotations associated with the subset of one or more users are provided to the plurality of user devices to cause the plurality of user devices to display the annotations of the subset of one or more users.
