Abstract: An oral irrigator tip (120) may be configured for coupling to an oral irrigator (100) for purposes of irrigating a user's teeth, gums, and interproximal regions. The oral irrigator tip (120) may have a first end (123) having an inlet (124), a second end (125) having an outlet (126), and an internal fluid passageway (128) that extends from the inlet (124) to the outlet (126). The oral irrigator tip (120) may further have an attachment portion (130) for coupling the oral irrigator tip (120) to an oral irrigator handle (110). The outlet (126) may have a polygonal shape or the outlet (220) may be elongated or the outlet (320) may include multiple outlets (321, 322, 323) that are linearly aligned.

Abstract: An oral irrigator tip (120) for an oral irrigator (100). The oral irrigator tip (120) may be configured for coupling to an oral irrigator (100) for purposes of irrigating a users teeth, gums, and interproximal regions. The oral irrigator tip (120) contains a dispensing member (150) in its interior, and the dispensing member (150) leaches an oral care agent during use as a fluid such as water flows past the dispensing member (150) within the interior of the oral irrigator tip (120). The oral irrigator tip (120) may be a monolithic structure. The dispensing member (150) may be non-removable from the interior of the oral irrigator tip (120), such that upon depletion of the oral care agent from the dispensing member (150) the entire oral irrigator tip (120) is replaced. The dispensing member (150) may be in the shape of a torus such that the dispensing member (150) does not impede the flow of the fluid through the oral irrigator tip (120).

Abstract: An oral care implement handle (200) having a gripping portion (210) and an oral care refill head (300) that is detachably coupled thereto. The oral care implement handle (200) may include the gripping portion (210) and a rocker unit (400) which includes a stem (250), a motor (224), and a motor chassis (410). The rocker unit (400) may be pivotably mounted within the gripping portion (210) so that upon pressure being applied an oral care refill head (300) which is coupled to the stem (250) that exceeds a pressure threshold, the rocker unit (400) may be altered from a normal position to an excessive pressure position. When in the excessive pressure position, the rocker unit (400) may actuate an actuator element (265) of a control unit (260) to initiate generation of a user perceptible signal.

Abstract: A personal care device, such as an irrigator, which may be an oral irrigator, a nasal irrigator, or similar. The personal care device may be used to cleanse a user's oral cavity, such as by injecting a liquid such as water into the spaces between a user's teeth. The device may include two housings that are slidably coupled together, with the upper housing containing the electronic components and the lower housing containing a reservoir for holding water or other liquids that are to be dispensed. During use, the lower housing may slide upwardly as the liquid is dispensed due to the formation of a vacuum inside of the cavity of the lower housing. Thus, an air flow passageway may be formed that extends from the ambient into the cavity of the lower housing. The device may also include a cap with a locking closure to prevent accidental opening and spilling.
