Abstract: Disclosed is a method of processing item sales information by an electronic apparatus, the method including obtaining a purchase request, which includes item information related to an item selected by a user and information related to a payment option, providing, when the item information corresponding to the item and the information related to the payment option satisfy a first condition, the user with a purchase response, which includes approval information corresponding to the purchase request, in response to the purchase request, prior to payment of the item by the user through the payment option, generating release request information for the item, and generating settlement information corresponding to the cost of the item, wherein the cost of the item is settled with the seller on the basis of the settlement information.
