Abstract: A method of product visualization and acoustic noise source localization includes receiving acoustic data that is associated with a first product, mapping a sound field around the first product based on the acoustic data, and generating a 3D surface of the sound data for the first product based on the mapping by at least one of interpolating or extrapolating the sound field. The method further includes generating a simulation of the first product by combining the 3D surface with a visual representation of the first product, and providing, via an emitter, an audio output based on the position of an avatar within the simulation with respect to a position of the first product.
