    摘要: A fuel tank isolation valve is provided having a main valve body including a fuel tank port and a canister port, a main bore, and an actuator selectively operable to allow or inhibit vented fuel vapors to move from the first port to the second port along a first path. The body can define an airflow bypass orifice that allows vapors to move from the first port, through the main bore, to the second port along a second path, while the actuator is in the closed mode inhibiting vapors from moving along the first path. This flow through the orifice can equalize pressure in a fuel tank and the canister during a purging operation on the canister. The valve can include a fitting that directly couples the valve to the canister without any intermediate hoses, in a cantilevered manner. A related method of use is provided.

    摘要: A self-cleaning air filter assembly is provided and includes a filter housing having an upper portion and a lower portion that together define an internal volume. An air filter element is disposed in the internal volume. The upper portion of the filter housing includes a canister port adapted for fluid connection with an evaporative emissions canister. The lower portion of the filter housing includes a first port adapted for fluid connection with an atmospheric vent, and a second port adapted for fluid connection with a source of low pressure air. During a cleaning mode, air is pulled from the first port and along the filter element to the second port in order to remove particulate matter from the filter element. A vehicle evaporative emissions control system including the air filter assembly and a method of cleaning an air filter assembly are also provided.

    摘要: An evaporative emissions canister is provided. The evaporative emissions canister includes a body defining an internal volume therein for receiving one or more volumes of adsorbent. The canister body includes a port for receiving an accessory component. The port is in fluid communication with the internal volume. A sleeve seal is disposed in the port. A mounting bracket extends outwardly from the canister body. The canister body supports the accessory component, and the accessory component is secured to the canister body, thereby eliminating a hose and connector fittings between the canister body and the accessory component. A fuel system assembly including the evaporative emissions canister is also provided. A method of connecting an accessory component to an evaporative emissions canister is further provided.
