Abstract: A centrifugal blower has a scroll casing, and a separation cylinder. The scroll casing has a nose portion having a minimum scroll diameter and a scroll end portion having a maximum scroll diameter. A suction port of the scroll casing is divided into a first half region and a second half region by a reference line passing through a rotation axis and the nose portion. An air introduction portion of the separation cylinder is arranged to have an area overlapping the first half region in the axial direction, which is larger than an area overlapping the second half region. An outer peripheral wall of the scroll casing is set such that a divergence angle from the nose portion to an intermediate portion is larger than a divergence angle from the intermediate portion to the scroll end portion.

Abstract: A film heater includes a transparent conductive film and first and second electrodes. The transparent conductive film includes a heat generating portion that generates heat when energized by the first and second electrodes. An outer edge of the heat generating portion has a short side, a long side, and first and second oblique sides. The first and second electrodes include a plurality of first and second connection portions corresponding to a plurality of first and second ports, respectively. A plurality of first and second current suppression portions is disposed to suppress flow of the current between the inside and outside of the heat generating portion through a region between the plurality of first and second ports, respectively. For each of some or all of the plurality of first ports, the current flows through the heat generating portion between the first port and at least two second ports.

Abstract: A centrifugal fan sucks in air from one side in an axial direction and blows out air outward in a radial direction. A blade leading edge is connected to a cylinder inner surface of a side plate. The blade leading edge has: a tip end extended linearly by an apex of a convex surface and connected to the cylinder inner surface; and a convex surface end indicating a boundary between the convex surface and a side surface of the blade. When the cylinder inner surface has: a diameter Φa at a first position, which is an end position of the upstream tubular portion of the side plate on one side in the axial direction, a diameter Φb at a second position where the blade leading edge is connected; and a diameter Φc at a third position where the convex surface end is connected, a relationship of Φa≥Φb≥Φc is satisfied.
