Abstract: An accelerator device includes a pad, a case portion having a front wall with an opening, a rear wall, a first side wall and a second side wall, an internal movable mechanism with a shaft, and an arm. The first side wall has a first bearing portion for receiving one end of the shaft, and at least one first groove portion provided vertically below a central axis of a surface facing the shaft of the first bearing portion and connected to the first bearing portion. The second side wall has a second bearing portion for receiving the other end of the shaft, and at least one second groove portion provided vertically below a central axis of a surface facing the shaft of the second bearing portion and connected to the second bearing portion.
