Abstract: The subject invention includes methods and plants for controlling lepidopteran pests, especially soybean looper (Pseudoplusia includens) and velvet bean caterpillar (Anticarsia gemmatalis) insects. The plants, preferably soybean plants, comprise a combination of Cry1Ca, Cry1Ea, Cry2Aa, and Vip3Ab1 insecticidal proteins. Methods are described for using the plants to delay or prevent the development of resistance by insects.
