摘要： A method of retransmitting a data frame and a network apparatus using the method are provided. In the method performed in a wireless network, a first network apparatus transmits a data frame requesting a response frame. A second network apparatus determines a type of response frame according to a reception mode of the data frame. The second network apparatus transmits the determined type of response frame to the first network apparatus. The first network apparatus retransmits the data frame according to the type of the response frame transmitted to the first network apparatus.

摘要： A method for communication between first and second coordinator-based wireless networks connected through a backbone network is provided. The method includes receiving a frame indicating data transmission containing information needed for remote channel time allocation (CTA) from a repeater connecting the second coordinator-based wireless network with the backbone network, sending a remote CTA frame in order for the repeater to request CTA from the coordinator within the second coordinator-based wireless network, and receiving a data frame originated from the first coordinator-based wireless network and then provided by the repeater during assigned channel time.

The method includes transmitting a service announcement request from a network device; checking service compatibility between the network device that transmitted the service announcement request and a network device that has transmitted a service announcement response, when at least one service announcement response is received in response to the service announcement request; detecting a common service that can be commonly used between the network device and a network device which has service compatibility with the network device; and providing a user with information on available services that can be commonly used between the network devices based on the detected common service.

摘要： A method for transceiving data in a coordinator-based wireless network and a wireless network device employing the same are provided. The method for transmitting data in a coordinator-based wireless network, includes providing data to be transmitted to another wireless network device in the coordinator-based wireless network, providing a Media Access Control (MAC) frame containing the data and type information indicating the type of the data and conforming to a protocol for the coordinator-based wireless network, and transmitting the MAC frame to the other wireless network via a wireless medium. The method enables inter-operation between an MAC layer and a layer above the MAC layer by specifying type information in an MAC frame.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for bi-directionally exchanging data within an allocated channel time by improving the MAC (Media Access Control) of devices operating on a wireless PAN (Personal Area Network). The method of the present invention comprises the steps of (1) generating a channel time request frame containing directional information to determine whether data transmission is unidirectional or bi-directional, and transmitting the channel time request frame to a device responsible for channel time allocation; (2) generating a frame containing channel time allocation information including the directional information based on the information contained in the channel time request frame, and broadcasting the generated frame; and (3) exchanging data between first and second devices, which are designated as source and destination devices in the frame containing the channel time allocation information, during a predetermined channel time in accordance with the directional information.

摘要： A method of controlling a terminal of the MPEG-4 system to enable to faster reproduce the selected contents through a caching mechanism includes, if the contents to be reproduced is selected, the terminal of the MPEG-4 system receives an initial object descriptor of the selected contents from a server, and then determines an object of stream and the priority based on the initial object descriptor, object descriptor, and a scene description. A random object is stored in the cache at the point of reproducing the random object constituting the contents. If a final update time of the object stored in the cache is identical with that of the object existing in the server, the object requested to be reproduced from the cache is reproduced. Accordingly, the method makes it possible to more promptly reproduce the contents requested by a user and to provide more stable contents to the user.
