摘要： A shaving assembly includes a grippable body having an upper end, a lower end, and one or more side walls extending therebetween. The body includes a storage reservoir for holding a fluid shaving preparation. The storage reservoir is enclosed by the upper and lower ends and the one or more side walls of the body. The upper end of the body has a razor cartridge receiving area for having one or more razor cartridges attached thereto. The upper end of the body also has a plurality of openings adjacent the razor cartridge receiving area and in communication with the storage reservoir. A pedestal is disposed within the storage reservoir. The pedestal is selectively movable between the lower and upper ends of the body for urging the fluid shaving preparation through the plurality of openings at the upper end of the body to dispense the shaving preparation around the razor cartridges.

摘要： A replacement cartridge for a safety razor includes a dispensing head and a reservoir for a flowable shaving aid material. A removable shield is between the reservoir and the dispensing head and the shield interrupts fluid communication between channels of the reservoir and the dispensing head when the shield is in place. Fluid communication is permitted when the shield is removed. Removal of the shield is a onetime event. The shield can be a thermoplastic film. A razor cartridge can be disposed adjacent the dispensing head and the housing of the razor cartridge can be integrally formed with the housing of the dispensing head.

摘要： A razor assembly is provided that includes a razor cartridge with one or more razor blades, a shaving aid body, a handle, and a linkage pivotally connected to the handle. The linkage is connected to the razor cartridge and the shaving aid body in a manner such that the razor cartridge and the shaving aid body are moveable relative to the handle. Movement of one of the razor cartridge or the shaving aid body in a first direction causes the other of the razor cartridge or the shaving aid body to move in a second direction substantially opposite the first direction. As a result, the positions of the shaving aid body and the razor cartridge are continuously adjusted to maintain the contact surface of the shaving aid body approximately co-planar with the cutting edges of the razor blades within the razor cartridge.

摘要： Razors adapted to support a razor head during shaving while permitting the razor head to move relative to the razor in response to forces encountered during shaving. Preferred embodiments allow a razor head to swivel and also to pivot about an axis normal to a central axis of the razor and normal to an imaginary axis defined by the points of attachment of the razor to a razor head. According to another aspect, an engagement arm comprises a novel slot for controlling the movement of the engagement during shaving, as well as during loading/unloading of a razor head. Embodiments of this invention enable the razor head to maintain optimum shave relation with the skin regardless of the angular differences between the cartridge head, razor handle/grip and shaving motion during shaving.
