Abstract: A spray nozzle comprising a housing including a primary passage defining a primary axis, a series of secondary passages configured to provide swirl to a fluid passing therethrough circumferentially positioned around the housing, a series of standoffs circumferentially spread around an outer surface of the housing and located downstream along the primary axis of the series of swirling passages, wherein each of the swirling passages corresponds to a respective standoff of the series of standoffs, in order to control the swirl of the fluid.
