Abstract: An unsaturated polyester resin composition includes small quantities of hydrocarbon wax and small quantities of an unsaturated alkyd resin formed from the reaction of linseed oil fatty acids, alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and glycol. Styrene volatilization from the resulting system is reduced. The secondary bonding properties of the resulting resin composition are not adversely affected.
