Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of controlling undesirable vegetation in pineapple, which comprise applying to vegetation or an area adjacent the vegetation or applying to soil to prevent the emergence or growth of vegetation (a) penoxsulam or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof. The methods can further comprise applying (b) a second pesticide or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof to the vegetation or the area adjacent the vegetation or to the soil adjacent thereto. In some embodiments, (b) includes an ACCase inhibitor such as cyhalofop-butyl, haloxyfop-P-methyl, fluazifop-P-butyl, or combinations thereof.
