Abstract: Systems and methods for medical data storage and retrieval are described. An exemplary method may include receiving identifying information from a patient at an electronic terminal over a first communications channel. The method may further include transmitting from the electronic terminal a request for recorded information specific to the patient, where the recorded information is stored externally to a facility containing the electronic terminal. The request may include the received identifying information and may be transmitted over a second communications channel. The method may still further include receiving the recorded information specific to the patient at the electronic terminal.
